PRACTICALLY…

All the defibrillators at our sports venues are now better signposted. The beneficiaries are.

1.Salle de l’école communale du Grand-Hornu (judo and karate).
2.Hornu sports hall and its adjoining tennis courts.
3.Léopold Club Hornu (football) and its stadiums.
1.Stadium 1, Rue du Commerce
2.Stadium 2: Youth ground, Rue de Binche.
4.Salle de Gym de l’école du Foyer moderne (gymnastics club),
5.Hall omnisports sportif de Boussu.

This signage includes a QR code which, once activated, gives emergency instructions for using the AED.

18 volunteers from the clubs and sports centres concerned have since been trained in the effective and rapid use of AEDs.

Boussu is proud and happy to have contributed to the Heart Heroes operation.

We are better equipped to prevent heart attacks.
