A new training took place at FC Ganshoren

About a dozen people from Ganshoren Football Club took part in the 3-hour training given by our trainer Dominique. Amateur footballers, infrastructure managers and members of the technical staff all took part in the morning-long training, which taught them in a fun way how to use a defibrillator when they need to come to the rescue on the club’s premises.

“It is interesting to see, thanks to this training, how we, as members of the club, can intervene in an emergency situation,” said Michaël Vossaert, president of Ganshoren FC.

The events of recent months have sadly reminded us that emergencies can occur regularly in amateur sports clubs. Although the presence of a defibrillator is mandatory, it is clear that few people really know how to use it effectively.
